The DYLN Insulated Bottle is constructed with a 316 surgical-grade stainless steel interior — the highest quality food-grade, non-magnetic, stainless steel available that has superior corrosion resistance, while having a more durable 304 stainless steel exterior. Because the stainless steel does not leach, there is no interior liner. The bottle is also free of any BPA or plastic.

What are the VitaBeads?
The VitaBeads are formulated to naturally enhance and revitalize your water. They are a proprietary blend of all-natural minerals that increases the pH and decreases the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) to create alkaline and antioxidant water for more effective hydration. The proprietary blend is composed of magnesium, tourmaline, zinc, and silica, which are heated to temperatures over 700 degrees Celsius to create the form and shape of the VitaBeads. They are then housed in the same 316 surgical-grade stainless steel as the interior of the Insulated DYLN Bottle.

How do I know when to replace the VitaBead Diffuser with my DYLN Insulated Bottle?
Each VitaBead Diffuser will last about 315 refills, equivalent to creating 300 liters of alkaline water. You are able to register your DYLN Bottle to track your usage and be reminded when it’s time to replace. This way, you can focus on staying hydrated and we’ll do the accounting!

How long does it take to alkalize the water and how high does the pH increase?
The DYLN Bottle will start alkalizing the water immediately and it typically takes 15-20 minutes for the water to reach an optimal level of over 9 pH. The VitaBeads were formulated so that the pH would level at around 9.5 pH, depending upon the source water.

How long does the DYLN Insulated Bottle keep the water hot or cold?
The new vacuum-sealed double wall design of the DYLN Insulated Bottle can keep temperatures for up to 24 hours. However, the Insulated Bottle is intended to keep your water cold rather than hot. Using hot water will effectively decrease the lifespan of the VitaBeads.

How long can I keep water in my DYLN Bottle?
We recommend consuming the water within 24 hours after each refill. Leaving water for longer periods of time will reduce the lifespan of the VitaBeads. If you are not using your bottle or storing it, we recommend completely air drying your bottle with the cap off.

How do I clean my DYLN Insulated Bottle?
Do not run in dishwasher. The DYLN Insulated Bottle is not designed to be dishwasher safe (Bottle, Diffuser and Wide-mouth Cap). Dishwashers can reach high enough temperatures that it may impact the scratch-resistant paint of the exterior and compromise the insulation benefit. Instead, we recommend hand washing your Bottle, VitaBead Diffuser, and Wide-mouth Cap with organic plant-based soap.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
